Just For You
and at Your Pace
What is Functional Yoga
Every body is different, and therefore deserves an individual approach. Functional Yoga works with the correct physiological alignment of the body—so that you use the movement not only on the mat, but also in everyday life.
I adapt the lessons to your current needs: it can be about release, better posture, improved mobility, or learning poses in a safe and functional alignment.
Together we will find movement that makes sense for your body, and that you will use in your daily functioning.

What to Expect
We will start with a short conversation about what brings you to the mat and what you expect from the lesson.
We will look at your movement habits and posture stereotypes and gradually set them into the correct physiological positioning. We will then work in this optimal alignment—whether it is gentle stretching, strengthening, or a combination of both.
The lesson always adapts to what your body currently needs. The entire time is just for you: without rush, with an emphasis on comfort, balance, and conscious movement.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I arrive for my scheduled service?
I recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early. This gives your body time to calm down and prepare. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, the previous treatment might still be in progress.
Do I need to bring anything?
You don’t. Just comfortable underwear so nothing presses against you and you can feel at ease. If you’re coming for yoga, please wear comfortable clothing.
What if I have health limitations?
We’ll discuss everything important before we start. However, if you know of anything that might affect the treatment, it’s good to inform me in advance so we can find a suitable approach.
Can I come if I have a cold?
It’s better to postpone the treatment. When you have a cold, it could stimulate the lymphatic system and worsen your symptoms.
What if I'm allergic to oils or scents?
Just let me know, and I’ll use alternative products that will suit your needs.
Do I have to be flexible to practice yoga?
Not at all. Yoga isn’t about perfect poses, but about how you feel in them. We start where you are – flexibility and strength will come with time.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move well. Ideally, leggings/sweatpants and a T-shirt. We practice barefoot or in socks.
Will the sessionbe physically demanding?
That depends on the type of session. Gentle yoga is suitable even with fatigue or pain, while more dynamic sessions will get your whole body moving. I’ll always adapt the practice to your needs.
Can I rest during practice if I need to?
Absolutely! Your body is your best guide. If you need to lie down, sit, or just breathe – that’s perfectly fine.
What can I expect after a yoga session?
Perhaps lightness, pleasant fatigue, sometimes even emotional release. Yoga affects both the body and mind. Give yourself some peace and water, and observe what happens within you.
How often should I practice?
As often as it feels good to you. Even once a week counts. Regularity is important, not performance.
