What is Fascial Release
fascia = a band or strip
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a deep-tissue technique focused on working with the muscles and fascia. Fascia is the connective tissue that influences your posture and mobility.
It helps to release accumulated tension, improve the flow (or movement) within the tissues, and restore your body’s natural ease and lightness. The treatment can sometimes be intense in certain areas, and the therapist works on different parts of the body as needed.

Who is it for
- For active people and athletes who need to release overloaded fascia and improve regeneration/recovery
- For anyone who wants to improve their posture, lightness of movement, and overall feeling of relaxation/release
- For people with reduced mobility, a feeling of "pulling" in the body, or a limited range of motion
- For those who suffer from painful or stiff muscles and are looking for effective release/relief

What to Expect
During the treatment, we will focus on the specific part of the body you need to release.
I work slower and with greater pressure, so some moments might be intense, but always within a range that is safe for you.
Fascial release can also be combined with massage, so that in addition to the deep release, you can also experience pleasant rest/relaxation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance is it ideal to arrive for a scheduled service?
I recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early. This gives your body time to calm down and prepare. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, the previous treatment might still be in progress.
Do I need to bring anything?
No, you don’t. Just comfortable underwear so nothing presses against you and you can feel at ease. If you’re coming for yoga, please wear comfortable clothing.
What if I have health limitations?
We’ll discuss everything important before we start. However, if you know of anything that might affect the treatment, it’s good to inform me in advance so we can find a suitable approach.
Can I come even if I have a cold?
It’s better to postpone the treatment. When you have a cold, it could stimulate the lymphatic system and worsen your symptoms.
What if I'm allergic to oils or scents?
Just let me know, and I’ll use alternative products that will suit your needs.
Will fascial release hurt?
Fascial release is a more intense technique that uses firmer strokes to reach deeper muscle layers. Because of this, the treatment can feel uncomfortable at times. However, it should never be overly painful. Everyone has different sensitivity levels and needs, so I will check in with you throughout the session and can adjust the pressure to your liking.
Should I keep my underwear on, or undress completely?
I recommend keeping your bottom underwear on (briefs, boxers). If you need to keep your top on (for example, for breastfeeding women), just unfasten the clasp and remove the straps.
Can I talk during the session?
Yes, you can. If chatting helps you relax, I’m happy to talk. Personally, however, I recommend silence—it usually allows for a deeper and more intense experience of the treatment.
What should I do after the massage?
Give yourself some peace, drink plenty of fluids, eat lightly, and if you can, try to get a good night’s sleep in the evening. This will help the relaxation last longer.
Can I have muscle soreness after a massage?
Yes, if you were very stiff or haven’t had a massage in a long time. Mild muscle fatigue is common and shouldn’t last longer than until the next day.

Only if you want it to. 😊 Everyone has different sensitivities and needs, so I communicate continuously during the massage and can adjust the pressure according to your wishes.

You can. If conversation helps you relax, I'm happy to adapt. Personally, however, I recommend quiet – the massage experience tends to be more intense then.
