What is a Massage

Massage is not just a touch. It is a moment when the world slows down, the breath deepens, and the body finally gets space to rest.

Sometimes gentle and soothing, other times more thorough and aimed at deeper tension release. Every body is different, every day brings something new — and so every massage is unique.

It’s not just about the muscles, but about overall balance. About releasing not only the body but also the mind. So that after a massage, you feel lighter, calmer, and reconnected with yourself.

What to Expect

The massage begins with a short conversation. I will ask you what troubles you, where you feel tension, and what you expect from the massage.

Maybe your back hurts from long hours of sitting, or maybe you just need a moment to rest from the rush of everyday life. Based on that, I will tailor the massage to bring you the greatest relief possible.

During the massage itself, some like to chat, others prefer to sink into silence and let themselves be carried by the present moment. Every massage is different — adapted to you, your body, and what you need right now.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance is it ideal to arrive for a scheduled service?

I recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early. This gives your body time to calm down and prepare. If you arrive more than 15 minutes early, the previous treatment might still be in progress.

Do I need to bring anything?

No, you don’t. Just comfortable underwear so nothing presses against you and you can feel at ease. If you’re coming for yoga, please wear comfortable clothing.

What if I have health limitations?

We’ll discuss everything important before we start. However, if you know of anything that might affect the treatment, it’s good to inform me in advance so we can find a suitable approach.

Can I come even if I have a cold?

It’s better to postpone the treatment. When you have a cold, it could stimulate the lymphatic system and worsen your symptoms.

What if I'm allergic to oils or scents?

Just let me know, and I’ll use alternative products that will suit your needs.

Will the massage hurt?

Only if you want it to. 😊 Everyone has different sensitivities and needs, so I communicate continuously during the massage and can adjust the pressure according to your wishes.

Should I keep my underwear on, or undress completely?

I recommend keeping your bottom underwear on (briefs, boxers). If you need to keep your top on (for example, for breastfeeding women), just unfasten the clasp and remove the straps.

Can I talk during the massage?

You can. If conversation helps you relax, I’m happy to adapt. Personally, however, I recommend quiet – the massage experience tends to be more intense then.

What should I do after the massage?

Give yourself some peace, drink plenty of fluids, eat lightly, and if you can, try to get a good night’s sleep in the evening. This will help the relaxation last longer.

Can I have muscle soreness after a massage?

Yes, if you were very stiff or haven’t had a massage in a long time. Mild muscle fatigue is common and shouldn’t last longer than until the next day.
